Preparatory operations for implantations
Preparatory operation for implantation is carried out to increase the height or volume of bone tissue extension. Depending on the case, osteoplastic materials, the patient's own bone, osseous blocks, and different kinds of membranes are used in the process. It is always possible to increase volume of the bone tissue bone, to lift maxillary sinus lower wall (sinus-lifting), to correct bone defects, but it is much more complicated or almost impossible to increase the bone tissue height. These methods are frequently used in our clinic with positive results.
